Work of a Reverend

By DaemVor, FCoS

I have studied with FCOS for quite some time now, and I have reached the conclusion that unlike other organizations or churches, FCOS actually cares about; and more importantly, supports its members. It has been proven to me that there is indeed a modern-day Satanic Church that still promotes self-empowerment and love simultaneously; with no friction between the two. Here, I feel a balance unlike any I have felt before. The Church is very warm and welcoming without the usual hostility and standoffish attitudes of some contemporary Satanists I have encountered. This allows for a solid foundation from which individuals may grow spiritually out from under the shadows of "one true way" schools of thought.

Imagine the individual self; allowed to reign free and powerful, a thing of unique beauty - encouraged and supported from a family of like-minded entities. Such a thing is worth more than all the wealth in the world, yet here, with the philosophies of FCOS and others like it, you and I are allowed to become what we will, our Satanic potential tested and fulfilled, limited only in our own minds. Such a thing is offered to you in the realization that you are the highest power. You are born of it. Silence the myths, superstitions and demands forced upon you by accepted, tolerated religion and simply realize that you are limited only to what you can imagine, no matter how you define yourself or choose to label yourself.

The rebellion against oppression lives in each of us. Every person on this earth has surely suffered oppression in some form or another, whether religiously, racially, politically, or otherwise. Therefore Satan (the adversary) is at hand. Rebel against any form of oppression inflicted on your body, mind or soul, and revel in the knowledge that you are self-empowered!

Lucidity lies in the subconscious, and it leads me to think of Lucifer, mightiest of angels, who mythically rebelled against a god who required constant pampering, attention, slavery, blood and sacrifice. Lucifer was cast out of heaven because he placed himself as an equal with god? I'd say he got what he deserved. He was freed from oppression to reign with those who stand at his side, bowing to nothing unwillingly. I certainly show respect, and give thanks where thanks is due, but only when deserved, never upon demand. Satan (whether perceived as a real entity or a myth, it's up to you!) stands with us, empowers us, and encourages us to take charge of our lives and our destinies, not forcefully over us, demanding huge quantities of ass kissing.

The ways and philosophies of this church have torn down the limits and boundaries that had been re-established and forcefully implemented into a way of life meant to free the true spirit. The originators of this implementation were those insecure, blind fools who laid the fences and gates required for the re-herding of a contemporary breed of cattle, one exactly like the herds freed upon earth many times over, when Satanism was practiced in its true form. Once upon a time, the herds of organized religion were freed and raised as self-conscious, responsible beings, capable of altering and accelerating their own destinies. Sadly, over recent years, the herds of old have again sprang from the well of the timeless closed-minded individuals who promise to walk among us eternally; touting their way as the way, and their truth as your truth. On behalf of FCOS, I say "To Hell with your one way." Maybe then it will be proven to you that there are as many true spiritual paths, as there are fair, responsible, strong individuals in the world who live what they believe. If you truly cling to the belief that you are right, and everyone else is wrong, I would love to tell you to rot in hell, but I don't feel like looking at you that long, and I don't want to reign over you. Go somewhere that you can be eternally brainwashed and controlled, go graze.

There will continue to be endless amounts of work for those of us who stand of our own free will, even more for those of us determined to free the enslaved who have the power and mentality to cast off the shackles of oppression. Long after I am gone, the individuals ordained or inspired by me, and those like me, will be following in our footsteps. My path is something that I share with those who have the capacity to stand before the gates of hell and take in all that awaits them. It is a family to me, and I will continue to serve my family and to welcome with open arms those who find their home with us. I will also continue to respect and admire those of other open-minded religions who promote freedom and tolerance. In the FCOS way, I will promote goodwill among freethinking individuals.

Walk with or alongside me, my friends. Life is both blessed and damned, and surely so are we. Have the strength to determine what you want in life, and to achieve it, either by yourself, or with the help of those of us who support you.

The work of a Reverend never ends. There will never cease to be a mass population of slaves, nor will there be any shortage of psychic-vampires to control them. Therefore, there will always be a need for those who would free them. I will walk quietly among the herd, searching for those of higher mentality, whose spirits need lifting, or who need the encouragement to fulfill their dreams. Smiling and satisfied, I will kiss those individuals upon the forehead, whispering "You are free, child of darkness; make your destiny. Stand and be who you are!"

Hail Satan!
Hail the Daemon Egan!

Aspirant Reverend

(Please take note that FCOS material is posted FREE to the public, thanks to the philosophy of the Daemon Egan.)

Thanks:

DaemVor would like to thank (In order):

The Daemon Egan - for his inspiration, support, and warmth. I have always believed in loyalty to those who deserve it, and through your philosophy, and caring enough to share it with us, you have earned mine. Thank you for your time, and thank you for your patience with my never-ending questioning and curiosities.

Members of FCOS - for your support, warmth and loyalty. You have already encouraged and promoted my self-esteem more than you can know.

Anton LaVey - for some of the works and legacies that are left behind for us to study. Whether original, or borrowed, the material that you compiled is an inspiration to us all. Your works live on.

To the persecuted; You have paved the way for religious and personal freedom. Today's road is not quite as difficult as it would have been previously. Blessings to those souls have beaten a path for the rest of us to follow with less pain.

To all other sources of inspiration - I find the words and the courage to speak my mind from remembering your examples.
